HOW WE WORK
Jigsaw Electrical Services was born of personal and disappointing experience of engaging trades, both in an emergency and during the subsequent renovation. The questions we asked were: "Can I trust them and their work? Why do they rarely show up as arranged! How much is this going to cost? What are they actually doing to my home?"
There had to be a better way and we strive to be that better way.
Our engineers are all DBS (Disclosure & Barring Service) checked and any client is welcome to see those details (we wish more would). Vehicles are clean, equipped with hand-washing facilities and sanitiser. We are used to working in a sensitive environment such as refuges. We have considerable experience of disabilities and will take the time to communicate in a way that suits the client.
We'll call or message ahead to confirm our arrival time and the client's availability or keys from a trusted source. Essential if the resident has had to relocate to temporary accommodation.
We'll explain, in clear terms, what the issues are, what we expect to do to resolve the problem and, if the situation develops, what the new considerations involve; both technically and financially
We'll record the work and test procedure then photograph every aspect of the task while respecting the personal. Again, essential where an insurance claim is under discussion.
